"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
Seek and yee will find.
Yesterday I posted a quote" Stop seeking what is out there. Start seeking what GOD has created for you."
This morning I wanted to go more in depth to the meaning behind that quote.
The Webster dictionary for the word seek means: to go in search or quest of:
The Greek word for seek is Zeteo:- Seeking means work, and lots of it.
With the two definitions, one can see that the word seek deals with not just finding what one is looking for but putting in the work to find what GOD has for you. The importance of seek to me is tied to an important sensory in the flesh and spirituality that God has blessed you with your eyes.
God has made you in his image. So when you are seeking with wrong intentions (fleshly eye) you end up, with what you have found. (Dead end job, broken relationship, etc..)
You have to be careful when looking with your fleshly eye because it can be dangerous and one can become easily tempted by temptation and unsatisfied with your results from seeking.
But, when you are looking through a spiritual eye (connection with God). He will give you discernment to see past the temptation and open your eyes to what GOD has aligned for your life in your purpose filled life. (Happy relationship, Great Job, etc..)
Remember we have to seek GOD in everything we do, stop focusing on your wants that are not aligned with GOD. Reach out in an aggressive prayer life and ask GOD to help you seek him in everything you do.
I pray it stars to turn around for you.
