Yesterday, I was wandering how many people feel like they are living but dying, due to their life they are living. The analogy that came to my mind was a plant vs a human life.
When I did my research, I found out that when you see a plant and think it is dead it may not be dead yet. (Just like you, you are not dead yet)
First, dig the plant out and look at its roots. (This is the strength of the plant that keeps it grounded and gets it the nutrition it needs to survive.
We have to look at the root of our problems. A lot of times we are struggling because our roots are not grounded in GODS word. We are not aligned with GOD. Reading his word daily to give us the nutrition we need.
What causes the plant to rot: There are two things, too much water and not enough oxygen and a fungus that comes to life and eats away at the roots.
Wow, have you let too much of life start to drown the life out of you? If you are under water for too long with no oxygen you drown. (If you let life began to keep you under for so long you will allow it to kill your spirit).
Second, what has come into your life (family, job, marriage) that is eating away at you. Realize if you continue to let it devour your foundation (roots) it will eventually kill your spirit.
Bring back to life.
Take a pair of scissors and snip off the rotted parts of the roots, and then also cut a 1/2-inch into the good roots to make sure there is no lingering rot.
Fill the entire pot with potting soil until it’s an inch from the top. Finally add water to the pot until it overflows, and watch your plant slowly revitalize.
Take a hold of your life. Cut / get rid of the lingering rot that has taken hold of your root (life)
Somethings need to be taken away for you to receive your blessings.
Once you do this align yourself with God and dive into his word and watch his overflow in your life.
