At SMAART #13 we will explore how Amazon embraced the strategic philosophy of Michael Porter ( Author of Competitive Advantage), to beat out competitors like Walmart, Target, Sears, and Costco. We will teach you hands-on how to price your products and services according to your market, competition and revenue goals.
Event Agenda: SMAART #11 Sat October 21st
1. Workshop Presentation. First 25 mins will be devoted to a short presentation on “AMAZON PRICING 101: WIN CUSTOMERS, MAKE $$$ & DOMINATE” by SMAART founder, and principal strategic adviser for Leap72, Khufere Qhamata.
2. SMAART Pitch Session. 20 mins will be dedicated to entrepreneurs pitching new concepts and ideas to the SMAART community. Each entrepreneur will be given 2 mins to present their business concept to the group.
3. Community Dialogue / Networking. 20 min open group discussion and networking. This event's group discussion will center on the two question; Are blacks less price sensitive to non-black business versus black-owned businesses?
